Here we go... 2009
Already a bum start to 2009. My palmpilot crashed on me! I love this version... Tungsten E2.
So, this catastrophic event caused my research into its replacement. My wifey has the Ipod touch 8GB after i sold her Tungsten E2 a few weeks ago. I should've waited before selling it!!! Oh well... after comparing the itouch to my palmpilot, I still love my palmpilot Tungsten E2 mainly because of the longer battery power and the calendar features, memo features, etc... plus i prefer using a stylus vs. punching in letters on the touch screen. On the itouch, you don't have the nice features on those functions. So, it's like i go full circle. Now, i have to buy another palmpilot after selling my wifeys. 
We had a very relaxing time in Cali and Maui over the holidays. Got to get away to warmer climate during the cold month of December! I highly recommend it. The warm sun does wonders to your skin, body, attitude, which i totally appreciate. Unfortunately, we didn't experience alot of sunny days. More or less overcast clouds and rain.
For Christmas we got a Wii. yes! we love this thing so much. Unfortunately, giggles beat me in tennis and baseball. yea... she was rolling on the ground bc she beat me!!! I'll let her have a few wins...
Football playoffs are here and i love this time of year!!! My chargers are in as I hoped for! But, i think the Steelers defense will crush them.

Showtime
We LOVED Jersey Boys! Giggles and i made it our tradition to watch a broadway show every year and I must say that "Jersey Boys" was amazing! If you love the '50-'60's type music genre, this is a must see! Some songs you might recognize are "Can't take my eyes off of you", "Who loves you", "Sherry". It's like "Momma Mia" but a boy band. We loved it so much that I bought the original "Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons" CD as well as the Jersey Boys CD. Can you tell we were thrilled and completely entertained.
Man, the end of the year is flying by so quickly. I'll be off on vacation from 12/19 - 1/5 which gets me all excited. We'll be visiting LA and then to Maui. Time to get away from the cold and get some R&R in the beautiful island of Maui. We chose Maui because it would be less $$$ than Europe or Aussie land. You can say it's our last big trip before the little ankle-biters come along. NO, we are not pregnant. We need to get the greenlight from the Doc. before we begin.
This Christmas we started another tradition, rather than giving each other gifts, we are giving to "people in need" through Christian organizations such as "World Vision", "Compassion International". Since Christmas is about Jesus' birthday, we thought it be appropriate to give gifts to God (monetary and service). Also, many Christian organizations are severely struggling because of the economy. For example, it's so sad to hear "Focus on the Family" (Christian org.) layoff several hundred ppl.
Investing... my portfolio is down and i just sold some stock to take advantage of $3000 deduction for capital losses. This will help offset some of my capital gains I made earlier this year. But... where to invest in 2009 is the big question. There are some great deals now (25-35% down) but like many other investors, i'm taking more precautions and less risk; the market will go further South before it turns around. Thank God I'm not retiring anytime soon. I just need to shore up cash to get ready to jump back in.
This weekend we need to trim the tree and build our gingerbread house. All the holiday festivities are kicking into gear!

2 year anniversary!
I surprised Giggles to a very neat, culinary experience at "Moto", located in Fulton Parkway, Chicago for our 2 year anniversary. She was surprised!
It was definitely a very unique experience. I would highly recommend it. Check out some of the pix from our 10 course meal. You cannot shoot with flash, so i had to adjust accordingly.
